I am so excited to introduce Simply Supportive Doula Services! I am expecting the site to grow quite a bit over the next year as I start attending more and more births. I plan to put birth stories up here (with permission of course) as well as any new research or legislature that affects childbearing families. I just went to a birth 4 weeks ago and that birth story will hopefully be up here by the end of the week.
I know it's going to be a challenge to get through this last year of nursing school while on call a big chunk of the time, but I look forward to every sleepless night, every bit of bodily fluids that get on my clothes, and every single brand new life that I get to watch come into this amazing world. Right now my next birth isn't until the beginning of October but I am hoping that will change pretty quickly.
